The Bulldogs enter this week as the new No. 1 in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll switching places with now No. 2 Denver.

This weekend saw the Bulldogs sweep Nebraska-Omaha by scores of 6-4 and 3-2, making the Bulldogs winners of seven of their last eight games.

Bemidji State (11-2-1)

With an unbeaten streak at eight games, the No. 10 Beavers are arguably one of the the hottest teams in the country. The Beavers kicked off a four-game homestand with a sweep of Northern Michigan by scores of 2-1 and 5-2, and will host Princeton next weekend.

Minnesota (5-3-2)

A split with Minnesota State ends Minnesota’s unbeaten streak at four games, and results in the first loss the Golden Gophers have suffered at home.

The No. 11 Golden Gophers will host Ohio State next weekend.

Minnesota State (8-5-1)

The momentum of a 4-1 win over Minnesota in game one of the weekend series was halted abruptly as the Mavericks were held scoreless in a 1-0 loss in game two. Brad McClure led the No. 15 Mavericks to the victory in the first game, scoring two goals to bring his season total to seven goals and 10 points.

St. Cloud State (6-6-0)

The Huskies scored a combined 11 goals in last weekend’s series sweep of Colorado College, and must have spent all of their goal tokens in Colorado Springs, going scoreless in two losses to No. 5 North Dakota.

Next up for the No. 15 Huskies is a trip to Kalamazoo, Mich., to take on Western Michigan.

Minnesota (11-1-2)

The Golden Gophers remain ranked No. 2 in the USCHO poll, hanging on to that spot after a pair of 2-2 ties with No. 7 North Dakota over the weekend in Grand Forks. The Golden Gophers earned the extra point in both games by winning each shootout.

Minnesota-Duluth (8-3-3)

A statement win over top-ranked Wisconsin was followed by a loss to those same Badgers, as the Bulldogs lost their seven-game unbeaten streak. Lara Stalder currently paces the No. 4 rated Bulldogs in scoring with eight goals and 18 points.

St. Cloud State (5-8-1)

After dropping the first game of the weekend series with Bemidji State 6-2, the Huskies responded with a 3-0 win in game two, getting 31 saves from Janine Alder who earned the shutout.

The Huskies will travel east to Burlington next weekend to compete in the Windjammer Classic.

Bemidji State (5-8-1)

A tough schedule has extinguished the hot start the Beavers began the season with, losing their last six of seven games. The Beavers split with St. Cloud State over the weekend, winning the first game 6-2 and being shut out in the finale 3-0. Freshman Haley Mack scored three goals in the game one win for the Beavers.

Minnesota State (3-10-1)

The Mavericks snapped a six-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Ohio State this weekend, salvaging a split with the Buckeyes. The Mavericks will now host Lindenwood University (Mo.) to continue their homestand.

Augsburg (7-0-1)

The Auggies currently sit at No. 6 in the United States College Hockey Online poll, climbing to the No. 6 spot from No. 10 last week.

Winners of seven straight games, the Auggies swept Gustavus Adolphus over the weekend by scores of 3-0 and 2-1. Jordyn Kaufer made 30 saves to earn the shutout in game one.

Hamline (5-1-2)

Hamline answered a 4-2 loss to St. John’s with a 5-2 win to earn the sweep of the Johnnies. The Pipers are third in the Minnesota Interscholastic Athletic Conference with a 3-1-0 mark, led by conference-leader Russ Jordan’s 14 total points.

St. Mary’s (5-1-2)

The MIAC leader is a perfect 4-0-0 in conference play, including a sweep of St. Olaf over the weekend. Cardinal goaltender Phil Heinle made 25 saves in the shutout, and earned his fourth win of the season. The Cardinals have won five straight games and tied once since losing to Concordia 3-2 in the MIAC Showcase on Oct. 30.

St. Thomas (4-2-2)

Unbeaten in MIAC play, the Tommies are second in the overall standings. Last weekend, the Tommies tied and defeated Bethel, stretching their unbeaten streak to four games. The Tommies are also perfect when at home, winning all three games played at St. Thomas Arena.

St. John’s (4-3-1)

A 5-2 loss to Hamline gives the Johnnies three losses in their last five games heading into a three-game homestand. A bright spot for the Johnnies has been Matt Colford, who is among the top scorers in the MIAC with 10 total points.

D3 Women

Augsburg (6-2-0)

The Auggies are the only team in the MIAC with both men’s and women’s teams in the USCHO poll top 10, with the women’s team coming in at No. 10 after being unranked last week.

Over the weekend, the Auggies split with Gustavus Adolphus, losing game one 1-0 and winning game two by an identical 1-0 score.

Bethel (3-2-2)

Just outside the national top 10, Bethel is currently unbeaten in MIAC play with a 2-0-2 conference mark and have not lost in four games.

The Royals defeated St. Thomas 3-1 and tied the Tommies 4-4 over the weekend.

Concordia (4-1-1)

Despite suffering its first loss of the season this weekend, Concordia remains in second place in the MIAC standings. The Cobbers fell to St. Catherine 6-2 in game one, and took game two 2-1 for a series split.

The Cobbers will take on Marian (Wis.) next weekend before resuming MIAC play.

Hamline (5-2-0)

Game one of the Piper’s series against St. Benedict, to be played at Dave Torrey Arena in St. Cloud, was postponed, but the Pipers edged the Blazers 2-1 in game two in St. Paul.

Darby Dodds scored both goals for the Pipers in the win.

St. Mary’s (3-2-1)

The Cardinals split with St. Olaf over the weekend, defeating the Oles 6-3 before dropping game two 4-3. Anya Hafiz scored three goals over the two games for the Cardinals.
