After passing its first tests -- with flying colors -- as the nation's top-ranked club last weekend, the University of Minnesota Duluth stayed put at No. 1 in the USCHO.com Poll for the second consecutive week.

The Bulldogs, who are off to a 7-1-2 start this season, took down then-No. 8 St. Cloud State University by identical 5-3 scores this past Friday and Saturday night in St. Cloud, Minn.

UMD accumulated 1,000 points and all 50 first-place votes in this week's USCHO.com rankings and were followed by the University of Denver (934 pts), Boston College (870 pts.), Boston University (857 pts.), the University of Massachusetts Lowell (763 pts.), the University of North Dakota (743 pts.), Quinnipiac University (665 pts.), the University of Minnesota (578 pts) and Harvard University (512 pts.). The Bulldogs are a collective 5-1-2 this season against North Dakota (2-0-0), UMass Lowell (0-0-2) Notre Dame (1-1-0) and No. 13 St. Cloud State (2-0-0).
