D1 Women

Minnesota (9-1-0)

The Golden Gophers are ranked No. 2 in the latest USCHO poll, behind the unanimous No. 1 Wisconsin Badgers, after sweeping St. Cloud State over the weekend.

Dani Cameranesi and Sarah Potomak each recorded six points over the series.

Minnesota Duluth (6-2-2)

A sweep of Ohio State brings the No. 3-ranked Bulldogs’ unbeaten streak to four, with wins of 6-0 and 3-2 over the Buckeyes. Sydney Brodt and Katherine McGovern each scored twice in the opening win, and five other players scored once for the Bulldogs over the weekend.

Bemidji State (4-5-1)

The No. 11 Beavers have not won a game in their last four contests, suffering three losses and a tie in that span. Two of those losses came over the weekend against No. 9 North Dakota by scores of 5-2 and 2-0.

St. Cloud State (3-6-1)

The Huskies fell to the No. 2 Golden Gophers 5-2 and 3-0 over the weekend, and will look to reverse their fortunes at home against Ohio State on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12.

Minnesota State (2-7-1)

Eight games without a win is never a good start, but the Mavericks have kept their losses close for a slight silver lining.

Against Wisconsin last weekend, the Mavericks lost 3-0 and 3-1, relatively pedestrian scores from the nation’s unanimous No. 1 team.
