Seven Minnesotans Selected to Play in CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game

Seven Minnesotans have been selected to participate in the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, to be played on Sept. 21 in Buffalo.

USA Hockey unveiled the list of players today that have the unique opportunity of putting their talents on display for National Hockey League scouts as well as the coaching staff of the 2018 U.S. World Junior team. Eden Prairie's Casey Mittelstadt, recently drafted 8th overall by the Buffalo Sabres, was the MVP of last year's Prospects Game.

Sixteen states are represented on the roster, including seven from the State of Hockey. Michigan leads the way with nine players selected.

Minnesotans selected include:

  • K'Andre Miller, D, Hopkins
  • Gavin Hain, F, Grand Rapids
  • Jack Jensen, F, Eden Prairie
  • Blake McLaughlin, F, Grand Rapids
  • Jaxon Nelson, F, Magnolia
  • Jack Perbix, F, Elk River
  • Colin Schmidt, F, Maple Grove
