Minnesota students will be voracious readers this March when the 2017 Wild About Reading program presented by St. Paul Eye Clinic gets underway.

Wild About Reading is a program aimed to promote the importance of reading and increase student literacy by encouraging kids to read inside and outside of the classroom. Last year, more than 2,000 students from over 400 classrooms in the state of Minnesota registered for the Wild About Reading program.

"Literacy is key to a child's educational development, and our goal is to encourage children to read and build on the skills they learn in the classroom and have fun while doing it." 

The 2017 Wild About Reading program offers materials for educators in the State of Hockey by providing elementary school teachers in K-6 classrooms downloadable Wild About Reading weekly goal posters throughout the month of March. Each weekly Wild About Reading goal poster will encourage kids to keep reading by offering a fun reading goal for students to take on. K-6 elementary school classroom teachers are encouraged to register to have a weekly goal poster delivered to them via email every Friday, starting March 3rd.
