HASTINGS EARNS ROGERS PEEWEE A/AA TITLE
Hastings went 3-0-1 to win the Rogers Peewee A/AA Tournament over the weekend. The Raiders thumped the host Royals 11-2, shut out Eagan 4-0, tied Sartell 4-4 and cruised past Owatonna 5-2 in the finals.
HENRY SIBLEY BANTAM AA EMERGES VICTORIOUS IN PLAYOFF PRIMER TOURNEY
The St. Cloud Playoff Primer Tournament was packed with top-end teams, and Henry Sibley scratched its way through the preliminary rounds and the championship round to capture the title.
The Warriors defeated Mahtomedi 3-2, Burnsville 3-2 and Alexandria 6-1 in divisional play, and downed No. 1 seed Stillwater 4-1 before edging No. 2 seed Brainerd 4-3 in the title tilt.
STILLWATER 10UA WINS 2016 SKATE FOR THE ROSES
The Ponies outscored their opponents by a combined score of 20-0, en route to claiming the Skate for the Roses title in its own tournament.
The Ponies defeated Lakeville North 9-0 in the first round and Coon Rapids/Champlin 7-0 in the semifinals before trouncing Eagan 4-0 in the championship round.
