ANDOVER BANTAM AA EDGES FARGO IN BRAINERD BATTLE FOR THE AXE

The Huskies gave up just three goals in four wins over the weekend, downing Osseo/Maple Grove 4-1, Woodbury 2-0, host Brainerd 4-1 and Fargo, N.D., 3-1 in the championship game. The Huskies have won eight consecutive games.

NORTHEAST METRO STARS MAINTAIN TOP RANKING IN U14A

At 19-2-2, the Stars have the top spot in the Youth Hockey Hub NOW Rankings. The Stars have gone unbeaten in their last 12 games, going 11-0-1 over that span, including a perfect 3-0 mark this weekend in wins over Fairbault, Sibley and Eden Prairie.

DULUTH EAST PEEWEE AA WINS WOLFPACK INVITE

Unbeaten in seven straight games, the Hounds took the Wolfpack Invite, going 3-0-1 in the four games. The Hounds defeated Owatonna 4-2 in the title game, with Zarley Ziemski scoring a hat-trick in the victory.
