Spirit of Duluth Tourney Peewee AA Title Goes to Edina

Edina posted two shutouts en route to five wins and the Spirit of Duluth Tournament championship over the weekend. The Hornets outscored their opponents 28-5 over the five games, including a title game win over Eden Prairie 6-3.

Rochester Takes Peewee AA Lumberjack Cup With Big Third Period

The Rochester Peewee AA team scored five goals in the third period to dispatch host Stillwater 7-2 and claim the title of the Lumberjack Cup. Maddox Fleming scored three goals to lead Rochester, which is ranked No. 7 in the Youth Hockey Hub’s NOW Rankings.

Minnetonka Bantam AA Wins Spirit of Duluth Tournament With Close Win Over Thunder Bay

The No. 2 ranked Skippers outscored opponents 18-5 in Pool Play, scoring wins over Elk River (5-1), Hermantown (7-2), and Madison, Wis. (6-2). The Skippers followed that performance with a 3-2 nail-biting win over Eden Prairie and then a 3-2 win over Thunder Bay to take the title.
