Minus top scorer and leader Zach Parise, the Wild will need a team effort to keep pace in the ridiculously tough Central Division, in which all but one team (Colorado) has a winning record.
Goaltender Devan Dubnyk and the defense did its part, shutting out the Tampa Bay Lightning, 1-0, in front of 19,066 at the Xcel Energy Center on Nov. 7. The win marked Dubnyk's second shutout of the season and improved the team's overall mark to 8-3-2. Defenseman Jared Spurgeon had the game's lone goal.
