Used Equipment Drive in full swing

Equipment drop off until Sept. 20, distribution at XCEL Energy Center Sept. 24


The Used Equipment Drive, presented by Toyota, will run until Sept. 20 and distribution will be held Sept. 24.

 ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild, Let’s Play Hockey and Minnesota Hockey today announced the organizations will partner for the annual Gently Used Hockey Equipment Drive presented by Toyota across the Twin Cities. Two Men and a Truck will drop off boxes at select arenas for equipment on Friday, Sept. 9 and collect the boxes on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

  From 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, thousands of pieces of donated equipment will be distributed for free to individuals and hockey associations inside Gate 1 of Xcel Energy Center.

 Used Hockey Equipment Drop-off Locations:

Anoka Area Ice Arena, Rogers Activity Center, Bloomington Ice Garden, Rosemount Ice Arena, Braemar Arena, Roseville Ice Arena, Coon Rapids Ice Arena, St. Croix Valley Rec Center, Eden Prairie Community Center, St. Louis Park Rec Center, Hastings Civic Arena, Super Rink, M Health Fairview Sports Center, Tartan Arena, Minnetonka Ice Arena, White Bear Lake Sports Center

Sponsors and partners for the program include: Two Men and a Truck, Let’s Play Hockey, Minnesota High School Hockey Coaches Association, Minnesota Hockey, Minnesota Ice Arena Managers Association, the Minnesota Wild and Toyota.

 Minnesota Wild single-game tickets are on sale now at wild.com/tickets, ticketmaster.com and at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office. Flex, 11-Game, half and full season ticket are also for purchase throughout the season.
