A Dream with a Promise made becomes Reality and a Promise kept - The Eagles Healing Nest branches out by offering partnership with The Ranch - Teammates for Life

On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, The Ranch- Teammates for Life Board of Directors met with Eagles Healing Nest Chair/Director Melony Butler and accepted her generous blessing to have The Ranch, Teammates for Life join the Eagles Healing Nest family in meeting the common objective of serving, loving, and building up those who suffer from mental trauma. 

The Ranch was a dream of Mark Pavelich a native Minnesotan, New York Ranger, and member of the 1980 Gold Medal Olympic (Miracle on Ice) hockey team.  Mark was suffering from mental health issues because of brain trauma and a promise was made to him prior to his passing to fulfill that dream.  By partnering with Eagles Healing Nest that dream has been fulfilled and the promise kept.

Promises made - Promises kept.  It is a mantra echoed throughout the Eagles Healing Nest’s halls. It now becomes one promise kept that inspires the Ranch as well in its mission to help. 

The Ranch board President, Jack Pavelich stated afterwards “Together we will make a positive difference in the lives of so many veterans, athletes, and others who are in need of help”

Melony Butler Chair/Director of Eagle’s Healing Nest added this “We are looking forward to welcoming the Ranch into our family with love and hope knowing the nest is now stronger because of our new branch” 

To Mark this event, a ceremonial groundbreaking celebrating the beginning of the partnership between the Eagle’s Healing Nest and The Ranch – Teammates for life will be held on Friday, August 13, beginning at 2:00 PM at the Eagle’s Healing Nest 310 US Hwy 71 North Sauk Centre, MN 56378.
