By Bryan Zollman, Let's Play Hockey

Andrew Racine is a senior captain for Coon Rapids.

Andrew Racine may not rack up a ton of points for the Coond Rapids Cardinals, but he is proof that there is more to hockey than just putting the biscuit in the basket. Hard work, leadership, and being a good teammate are some of the traits Racine brings to the ice on a daily basis.

Racine not only gets it done on the ice and in the locker room, but also in the classroom where he boasts a 3.9 GPA and is planning on big things beyond high school.

"Andrew is a great leader who is looking to pursue a Medical degree after high school," said Coon Rapids Head Coach Aaron Frach. "Andrew exemplifies the attitude and effort needed in a leader. Andrew is a 3.9 student as well as a multi sport athlete. Andrew has been part of our leadership group putting forth the effort to change the culture within our program to build a Championship culture at Coon Rapids."
