18 Minnesotans listed on NHL Central Scouting Rankings

The 2018 NHL Entry Draft takes place June 22-23 in Dallas.

Eightteen Minnesota natives have been listed on NHL Central Scouting’s Final Rankings for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

The list includes seven players who are currently playing high school hockey in Minnesota during the 2017-18 season, seven in the USHL (including two with the U.S. National Team Development Program), two in the WHL, one in the NCHC and one in the NAHL. 

Chicago (USHL) left wing Blake McLaughlin (Grand Rapids) leads the Minnesotans on the list at No. 25 on the North American Skaters rankings, followed by U.S. Under-18 Team defenseman K’Andre Miller (Hopkins) at No. 31 and Sioux Falls (USHL) center Jaxon Nelson (Magnolia) at No. 77.

Omaha (USHL) goalie Keegan Karki (St. Cloud) is No. 7 on the North American Goalies rankings, followed by Waterloo (USHL) netminderJared Moe (New Prague) at No. 9.
