Bothun has had the hot hand in goal for the No. 6-ranked Lakers, winning four of her last five games by shutout. Those shutouts have come against quality teams such as Cretin-Derham Hall, White Bear Lake, Elk River and Roseville. Bothun’s season save percentage is a robust .962 and her goals-against average is a minuscule 0.89.
