State of Hockey Announces Partnership with Let's Play Hockey
Stateofhockey.com Announces Partnership with Let's Play Hockey The State of Hockey and Let's Play Hockey partner to create an even greater State of Hockey
SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Stateofhockey.com is excited to announce a new partnership with Let's Play Hockey that includes a merger of content from letsplayhockey.com to stateofhockey.com and the launch of a new show, High School Hockey Weekly, that will stream live every Tuesday at 12 p.m. beginning Nov. 21 on stateofhockey.com. As part of the partnership, Venture 32, LLC, and Let's Play Hockey will work together to promote and execute events like the annual Let's Play Hockey EXPO.
High School Hockey Weekly will run throughout the high school hockey season and highlight games of the week, updated state rankings, top 10 plays of the week and stories from around the State of Hockey. Dan Hendrickson and Pete Waggoner will serve as hosts of the show. Stateofhockey.com will continue to utilize the SportsEngine platform.

Stateofhockey.com is backed by Venture 32, LLC, a subsidiary of Minnesota Hockey Ventures Group, L.P. that was created to help grow and strengthen hockey at all levels and unite fans across the state.
Let's Play Hockey is the longest-running hockey newspaper in the country. They will continue to publish weekly during the hockey season and distribute the papers for free in arenas and hockey retailers throughout the Midwest. Let's Play Hockey was started in 1972 by former North Star PA announcer Bob Utecht. Doug Johnson purchased the publication from Utecht and served as publisher until 2016. Johnson started the Let's Play Hockey Expo, the largest consumer hockey show in the world. Now in its 29th year, the Ex p o draws up wards of 40 ,000 hockey enthusiasts every Marc h. Zollman purchased Let's Play Hockey from Johnson in April of 2016.
