Minnesota Hockey's youth season comes to a dramatic conclusion with the upcoming region tournament and #Drive2State, starting on March 3.

Thirty-five region tournaments will take place over the weekend at more than 30 different locations, for levels including Girls 15A-B and 12A-B and Boys Peewee (AA, A, B), Bantam (AA, A, B) and Junior Gold (A, B, 16).

According to Minnesota Hockey, "in Minnesota Hockey Region Tournaments, a double elimination format is used to determine which teams will play in the State Tournament for each level. Each of the Region Tournaments for Peewee and Bantam will send two teams to the State Tournament."

"For Girls State Tournaments, three teams will advance from each American and National Region, and two teams will advance to state from the Olympic Regions, except at the Girls 15U B and Girls 19U levels. In state tournaments, the qualifying teams will compete in a standard championship bracket format with 3rd place and consolation games."

The 2017 State Tournaments will be held March 17-19 at various locations throughout Minnesota.
